On Wednesday, December 10th, a public event will take place at the premises of Groupe Ouest (La Gare, 29890, Plounéour-Brignogan-Plages), co-organized by Groupe Ouest and Village d’Auteurs.
What is Village d’Auteurs?
Residents of Plounéour-Brignogan-Plages, located in the Côte des Légendes (Finistère, Brittany), founded the association Village d’Auteurs to offer authors currently working on their screenplays — whether for short films, feature films, or series — the opportunity to stay for a week in a house, alongside other writers.
The association has set two main goals:
- To provide writers with a dedicated time for writing, away from daily distractions, in a special coastal environment that inspires creativity.
- To offer the village residents opportunities for meetings and cultural exchanges.

Writers from the Annual Selection 2025
The next Village d’Auteurs session will welcome writers from the Annual Selection 2025.
The Annual Selection has supported the development of screenplays that went on to become winners of the Caméra d’Or or Grand Prix at Cannes, Best Film at the Goyas, César Awards, and blockbusters on Netflix or Shudder, among others. It is historically the first support program for authors from Groupe Ouest.
On December 10th, you’ll have the chance to discover the feature film projects of the writers from the 2025 Annual Selection, after 8 months of writing support at Groupe Ouest.
It will be a unique opportunity to hear about the stories of tomorrow, understand the creative process, and engage with those shaping the films and stories of the future, all while enjoying a drink together.
