Claude Barras came to Le Groupe Ouest as part of the 2018 Annual Selection with co-writers Nancy Huston and Morgan Navarro to develop his new animation project “Sauvages”. Director of the acclaimed “Ma vie de Courgette”, this will be his second feature film.
Synopsis
Eleven-year-old Kéria lives with her father in the farming suburbs in the province of Sarawak, on the island of Borneo. She likes stylish haircuts and hip-hop music. She has no memory of her mother who died when she was very young. Her father has told her she was eaten by a panther.
