Aurélie Reinhorn
Aurélie Reinhorn trained in theater at the Conservatoire du Ve arrondissement in Paris and then at the École nationale de la Comédie in Saint-Étienne. Alongside her career as an actress, she directed the short film “Raout Pacha” in 2019, which won two awards at the 2020 Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival, followed by “Son Altesse Protocole” in 2021, which was selected and awarded at numerous festivals (Télérama Prize at the 2022 Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival, Jury Prize at the 2022 Brussels Short Film Festival, and selected for the 2023 César Awards).
Affirming her penchant for social themes approached through the lens of absurd humor, Aurélie continues her theatrical collaborations in parallel, most recently at the Théâtre National de Strasbourg, where she led a film workshop with students from Group 49 around her feature-length project *L’énergie abrasive des lieux*. This project, winner of the 2025 annual selection residency at Groupe Ouest, is currently in the writing phase.

Annual Selection 2025
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the IKEA in Brest, a major overnight inventory is being held at the store. Fred, an ambitious but ill-suited employee, sees this as her chance to finally advance her career. Unfortunately, she has to train Martial, a quirky new temp obsessed with a strange role-playing game: reenacting scenes of family conflict in the store’s fake sets. At first exasperated by her partner, Fred is struck by a disturbing realization: Martial is the spitting image of IKEA’s CEO. The rumor spreads like wildfire, turning the evening event into a chaos of speculation and flattery. Eager to please the man she assumes is the director’s son in disguise, Fred completely derails the evening, plunging the entire team into a family drama as carnivalesque as it is unsettling.
