Pierre Denoits

After completing his studies in agricultural engineering, Pierre enrolled at ENSAV in 2007. Between 2008 and 2016, he was one of the managers of the film production company Potemkine Films. “Adieu Pan,” his first short film, was produced by GREC in 2015. This was followed by three other short films: “Pastorale,” “Punta Stella,” and “La Prise de l’Élysée.” Today, Pierre divides his time between carpentry and filmmaking. He is developing two feature films: “Georges a un plan,” produced by Les Films de l’après-midi, and “L’Amour courtois,” a joyful and brutal adventure set in 12th-century France.

Georges has a plan (Georges a un plan)

Annual Selection 2025

Autumn in the mountains. A fox bit a camper. The French Office for Biodiversity dispatches two agents, Diane and Georges, to find the animal. Diane and Georges love each other as much as they love adventure and rifle shooting. They set up their base camp in a small mountain hut, where they live alongside Michelle, the melancholic caretaker of the place, and Hugues, a rough-around-the-edges student. While scouting a ravine, Georges drinks from a spring that isn’t marked on any map, despite Michelle’s warnings. Upon returning to the refuge, Georges throws his rifle into a chasm. Soon, the mission goes awry and certainties begin to waver.
