Élodie Lélu shot her film in 2021 in Belgium starring Fantine Harduin, Hélène Vincent and Olivier Gourmet. She participated in the Le Groupe Ouest’s Annual Selection in 2012 for the development of this first feature, previously titled “C’est de famille!”.

Synopsis

Manon, a 16-year-old introverted teenager, is forced to cohabit with her grandmother Yvonne, a former feminist activist with Alzheimer’s disease. The situation becomes complicated when Yvonne, begins to take Manon for her daughter. Against all odds, Manon enters Yvonne’s delusions and plays the role of her mother that she almost never knew. It is an opportunity for her to discover the true story of the women in her family and to learn, in turn, to become one.­
