Three feature films supported by Groupe Ouest are being released in theaters.

The new season is shaping up to be a particularly exciting one for Groupe Ouest, especially for the films supported through the workshop Puissance et Âme, dedicated to the development of feature-length fiction screenplays.
This September, three films that took part in the workshop will be unveiled to the world! Three unique projects, brought to life by filmmakers whose next step in their journey we are delighted to witness as they finally meet their audiences.
“La dernière patiente” of Rémi Bassaler
in theaters Wednesday, 2 September
SYNOPSIS
The day before she retires, Judith, a suburban doctor, opens the door of her office to Aïda, who is eight months pregnant and has been cut off from medical care. Faced with a healthcare system on the brink of collapse, Judith agrees to take the young woman in and embarks on a night in which all her convictions as a healthcare provider will be put to the test.

“Ceci n’est pas un film français” of Tom Adjibi
in theaters Wednesday 16 September
SYNOPSIS
Tired of always being offered clichéd roles in films, Tom decides to make a video diary to explore the place of actors of color on screen. But his film spirals out of control when the actors he brings together confront him with his own shortcomings…

“La Bucolie” of Wided Ouassale & Tom Boccara
The film’s premiere will take place on Thursday 10 September, as part of the BRIFF – Brussels International Film Festival
