This film received support from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation Film Center as part of its light production grants program. As a result, Wided Ouassale and Tom Boccara participated in Groupe Ouest Développement’s 2023 “Scénario : Puissance & Âme” workshop to finalize the development of their film “La Bucolie”

SYNOPSIS

The young Count François d’Aracob is about to take up the family mantle. But secretly, he dreams of something entirely different. When he meets Roza, a young woman who has lost her roots, his destiny takes a different turn. Together, they invent a daily life that matches the scope of their imaginations, driven by an infinite longing for pastoral simplicity.
