Melissa Silveira
In 2023, she was a resident at La Ruche, supported by Gindou Cinéma. There, she wrote “Diego,” her short film, which won the Beaumarchais-SACD writing grant and the 2024 Kissfilms grant. Through this story, she explores the tensions between cultural heritage, desire, and the quest for emancipation. The film is currently making the festival circuit. She is now writing her first feature film, produced by Topshot.
