Thomas Keumurian
Thomas Keumurian is a screenwriter, consultant, and director.
Winner of the 2017 Sopadin Award for Best Screenplay for “Seul à la noce”, he now divides his time between feature films and TV series, where he develops stories that blend drama and comedy.
A graduate of La Fémis’s Screenwriting Workshop, he is currently developing “Dans sa bulle”, a feature film supported by the CNC’s Rewrite Grant. He regularly collaborates with filmmakers such as Laurent Slama (A Second Life, selected for the Tribeca Film Festival and the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival) and Sarah Marx, with whom he co-wrote *La Grâce*, winner of the CNC’s Advance on Receipts grant. For television, he is a screenwriter on the series “La Vie scolaire”, created by Mehdi Idir for Netflix, and co-creator of the series “Fake” and “Arménia”, currently in development.
In addition to his work as a screenwriter, Thomas Keumurian has directed several short films, including “De la Fureur”, which won the CNC’s Prix Qualité, and “Quand on ne sait pas voler”; both were selected for numerous international festivals, including Clermont-Ferrand.
He also works as a consultant and instructor in screenwriting, notably at Groupe Ouest, École W, and ESCAT.
