NINO by Pauline Loquès, César Award for Best First Film, and WE BELIEVE YOU by Charlotte Devillers and Arnaud Dufeys, honored at the 2026 René Awards (formerly Magritte Awards) with eight awards, including Best Film, Best Director, and Best Screenplay !!!
We share the joy of Pauline, Charlotte, and Arnaud, who were supported in their writing process by Le Groupe Ouest !
We are more than happy to have accompanied these authors on a small part of their long journey from the initial idea to the final production of their films.
Both films deal with socially relevant topics that are all the more impactful thanks to their strong and assertive narrative choices: concentrating the story in time and space to heighten the intensity of the viewer’s experience!
Both films were supported by Le Groupe Ouest as part of the Cinema Workshop: Puissance & âme.

It’s all the more touching for us because it was made with such limited resources, costing almost 10 times less than a typical film, and shot in 13 days with a mix of non-professional and professional actors.
