« L’Homme d’argile » nominated at the Venice Film Festival!

A true breeding ground for young talents, the Horizons (Orizzonti) selection offers the opportunity to discover emerging filmmakers every year. In 2023, “L”Homme d’argile” (The Dreamer), Anaïs Tellenne’s debut feature film is part of it. Under the presidency of Italian director Jonas Carpignano, the international jury will include, among others, Kaouther Ben Hania, Kahlil Joseph, Jean-Paul Salomé, and Tricia Tuttle.

Developed at Le Groupe Ouest as part of its Annual Selection in 2019, “L’Homme d’argile” takes us into the world of Raphaël, played by Raphaël Thierry, a one-eyed bachelor who serves as the caretaker of a large uninhabited bourgeois estate. On a stormy night, Garance, the heiress portrayed by Emmanuelle Devos, returns to the family mansion. Nothing will ever be the same again.
