Louise Hémon participated in Groupe Ouest’s Boost Camp in 2018—a program aimed at boosting the development of films made by women—as well as Groupe Ouest’s Annual Selection in 2019 for the development of this feature film.
The film was co-written with Anaïs Tellenne, who also participated in the 2019 Annual Selection for the development of her first feature film, The Dreamer, released in cinemas in 2024.
