This film was supported by the Centre du Cinéma de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles as part of its light production aid program. In 2022, Catherine Cosme took part in Groupe Ouest Développement’s workshop Scénario : puissance & âme to finalize the development of “Sauvons les meubles”.

Synopsis

Lucile (40) and Paul (30) are called to their parents’ home because their mother is dying. Both were unaware of her illness, but discover another secret: their mother has assumed Lucile’s identity to heavily indebt herself through consumer loans. In this urgency, before their mother passes away, Lucile must find the path to forgiveness and, along with her brother, save much more than just furniture.
