Time to Get Away!

Lisa Diaz took part in the Boost Camp for the development of “Libre Garance ! – the programme aimed at boosting development of films made by women. Initiated by Belgian producer Diana Elbaum and implemented jointly with Le Groupe Ouest and Deuxième Regard, the Boost Camp was held in 2017 and 2018.

Synopsis

Summer 1982. Garance is eleven years old and lives in a remote village in the Cévennes where her parents strive to lead an alternative life. When two Italian activists rob a bank in the area, things go wrong. This event turns Garance and her family’s life upside down…
