L’Employée du mois

Veronique Jadin’s “L’Employée du mois” was one of the first four selected by the Limited Budget fund created by the Centre du Cinéma et de l’Audiovisuel de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, and it is in this context that the Belgian director came to Le Groupe Ouest.

Synopsis

Inès (45 years old) is a model employee selling cleaning products for which she receives neither the recognition of the correct pay. As Mélody, the young and blasé trainee looks on, she goes to ask Patrick, her boss, for a raise. But things go wrong, Mélody tries to intervene but Patrick ends up with a fractured skull. The accident looks like a crime. What can they do? What Inès knows best: clean up…
