Out of it

Thierry Machard shot his short film “En sortir” in June 2019 in the Finistère region. The film, produced by Anthony Quéré (Les 48° Rugissants) with Philippe Torreton in the leading role, was backed by Groupe Ouest Développement, thanks to a support by a CNC residency grant.

Synopsis

A morning, on a farm, a farmer is anchored in his working habits with his dog and his machine. At the first dysfunction, he dismisses the only living being still present by his side and sinks a little deeper into his loneliness.
