Out of it

Thierry Machard shot his short film “En sortir” in June 2019 in the Finistère region. The film, produced by Anthony Quéré (Les 48° Rugissants) with Philippe Torreton in the leading role, was backed by Groupe Ouest Développement, thanks to a support by a CNC residency grant.

Synopsis

Morning. A farmer going mechanically through his routine, accompanied by his dog and his machine. But at the first sign of a dysfunction, he shuns the only living being close to him, further retreating into solitude.
