Diala Al Hindaoui
Diala Al Hindaoui, born in 1997, is a Syrian screenwriter and director who has been based in Paris since 2016. A graduate of CinéFabrique in screenwriting, she directed her first short documentary, *Deux morceaux de mémoire*, in 2022, which won an award at Noisy-le-Sec. In 2023, she released Fatmé, which won awards at five international festivals, including Cinéma du Réel and Entrevues de Belfort. She is currently developing two feature films: Fille de la vallée, a documentary, and Dans mon pays de tomates, a fiction film. At the same time, she leads film workshops and is committed to sharing Syrian stories.
