Chloé Mazlo

Born in Paris in 1983, Chloé Mazlo studied graphic design at the Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg from 2002 to 2007.

Whether drawing on autobiographical elements (L’Amour m’anime – Deyrouth – Les Petits Cailloux), literary adaptations (Conte de fées à l’usage des moyennes personnes based on Boris Vian) or her family history (Diamenteurs), her films are distinguished for their highly allegorical visual language.

Her short films have been selected for numerous French and international festivals and have won several awards. Her third short film, Les Petits Cailloux, won the 2015 César Award for Best Animated Short Film.

She also continues to draw and has successfully created children’s apps such as Astropolo and Albert.

Chloé’s first feature film Sous le ciel d’Alice (Under Alice’s Sky), co-written with Yacine Badday was developed at Groupe Ouest. It was selected for the Critics’ Week in 2020.
