Leonardo van Dijl

Born in 1991, Kortrijk (Belgium) Leonardo van Dijl started his career as an editor for Vice Magazine. He made his debut in film with the short “Get Ripped”, which after premiering at the International Short Film Festival of Leuven, was awarded with the Grand Jury award at Outfest LA. Two years later, Leo pursued a Master in Audiovisual Arts at the Luca School of Arts with the film “Umpire”. After having its premiere at the Locarno Film Festival, it was selected for a numerous amount of other festivals, honored with a special mention at the Film Festival of San Sebastian and winning the highly acclaimed VAF Wildcard for Best Short.

Leo directed a myriad of things, from documentary to music videos for Oscar and The Wolf, MoMu and the Fifa.
