Nicolás Buenaventura

Born in Cali, Colombia, he is a narrator, storyteller, writer, screenwriter and film director. After a long period of work at the Experimental Theatre of Cali (TEC), he dedicated himself to oral narration, which led him to perform in shows in Africa, Europe and Latin America. He has also published numerous story books.

He has participated in the writing of more than a dozen feature films and documentary series for television, and has been awarded several times for his screenplays. He directed a documentary entitled “The Charm of Impossibilities” in 2005 and has just completed the shooting of “Kairos” whose screenplay is a winner of the Gan Foundation for Cinema.
