Sandra Fassio
After studying film editing at IAD (Institut des Arts de Diffusion) in Belgium, Sandra Fassio worked as a script supervisor and editor in fiction and television.
At the same time, she trained in screenwriting and directed two short films: I Rafi in 2011, about the Greek military dictatorship, and Kanun in 2015, a film noir set in a closed world centred on an Albanian code of honour.
Her first feature film, Lidhjet, developing the same theme, is currently in production. It explores the role of mothers in transmitting mafia values, and more broadly, patriarchal values.
