Blandine Jet

After obtaining a degree in Philosophy and German-language Literature, Blandine devoted herself to theatre and writing. In 1992, she co-founded the musical and choreographic theater company Légitime Folie. For twenty years, alongside the musician-composer, Vincent Burlot, and choreographer, Hélène Jet, she wrote, directed, and staged original productions that toured regional drama centres, national theatres and festivals in French-speaking countries.

In 2015, she transitioned to screenwriting through the Centre européen de formation à la production de films (feature film and series track). Since then, she has written about ten fiction films—both shorts and features—on her own or collaborating with directors. She also works as a consultant in both fiction and documentary. She was selected for the Groupe Ouest Annual Selection in 2017 to develop her first feature-length film, Le Bruit des anges.
