Two films and one series supported by Le Groupe Ouest were released this month:

The feature film LA TOUR DE GLACE by Lucile Hadžihalilović, co-written with Geoff Cox as part of the Annual Selection.

Premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival, the film was produced by 3BProductions, co-produced with ArteFranceCinéma, Davis Films, Sutor Kolonko, and Albolina Film, and distributed by Metropolitan Filmexport.

Synopsis: 1970s. Jeanne (Clara Pacini) runs away from her mountain home to join the city. In the studio where she takes refuge, the young girl falls under the spell of Cristina (Marion Cotillard), the enigmatic star of the film The Snow Queen, her favorite fairy tale. A disturbing relationship develops between the actress and the young girl.

The feature film NINO by Pauline Loquès, developed within the “Puissance et Âme” residency, dedicated to fiction feature film screenwriting.

Acclaimed at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, the film was produced by Blue Monday Productions and distributed by Jour2fête. The cast includes Théodore Pellerin, William Lebghil, Salomé Dewaels, and Jeanne Balibar.

Synopsis: In three days, Nino will have to face a great challenge. Until then, the doctors have entrusted him with two missions. Two imperatives that will lead the young man through Paris, pushing him to reconnect with others—and with himself.

The series DANS DE BEAUX DRAPS by Sarah Tissandier, developed as part of the residency “La Fabrique des mondes sériels.”

This tender yet transgressive family action comedy, in 6 episodes of 52 minutes, is currently broadcast on France 2 and available for replay on france.tv.

DANS DE BEAUX DRAPS was produced by Redstone Production and co-produced with France Télévisions. The cast includes Eléonore Bernheim, Gil Alma, Charlie Bruneau, and Arié Elmaleh.

Synopsis: Justine and Rémi Blanchet are about to enter the inner circle of the upper bourgeoisie thanks to the marriage of their eldest daughter Capucine to the city’s most eligible bachelor. Unfortunately, everything collapses when they suddenly find themselves ruined. Unable to face this social downfall, Justine and Rémi gradually become masters in the art of duplicity and deceit, discovering in their wild and dangerous double life an unexpected rekindling of their passion.
