LIM MEET | 2025

Last month, immersed in a unique setting shaped by the tides, seabirds and beaches of northern Finistère, more than a hundred guests, including European film professionals (producers, international sales agents, representatives of institutions), audiovisual students and local cultural representatives gathered for LIM MEET.
Supported by Le Groupe Ouest as part of the LIM – Less is More programme, the event showcased a new generation of committed European filmmakers through the presentation of their feature film projects. Twelve producers from the Dévelopment Angels programme were also present to discover the narrative methods developed by Le Groupe Ouest.
The programme offered all participants a presentation of the 16 projects from the 2025 selection and two projects at an advanced stage from previous editions, followed by tailor-made meetings between authors and producers, all mixed with friendly exchanges over seafood.
To launch LIM², which begins in 2026, LIM MEET pushed the boundaries in terms of immersive and technological aspects : presentations and individual meetings immersed participants in a lively immersion at the heart of the projects, following the unique perspective offered by LIM – Less is More : use of sound, tableaux, scenography, closely reflecting the work carried out with filmmakers throughout the year.
Drawing on recent research in the humanities and cognitive neuroscience, this approach, unique in France, rethinks the way films are developed : more collaborative, more sensitive, more rooted in experience.
LIM MEET has confirmed its ambition : more than a co-production market, it is a privileged space for European exchanges and collaborations, stimulating creativity and co-development opportunities in a setting conducive to nature.
A month later, the Groupe Ouest team remembers these splendid days of sharing and conviviality by the sea.
