In 2026, LIM becomes LIM²
LIM² Online training programme
Published
In 2026, LIM becomes LIM². As part of this evolution, 56 additional projects, led by 59 writer-directors from over 35 nationalities, have been selected to participate in an online workshop. Guided by two “dancing partners”, this workshop offers a deep dive into the innovative tools and methodologies of the LIM² programme, specifically designed to support the early development stages of a fiction feature film.
This online workshop, consisting in three 3-hour sessions, also provides a unique opportunity for filmmakers to connect, share ideas around the humanist values carried by LIM², and build a community of committed filmmakers in a changing world.
The workshop was structured around three online sessions, each lasting three hours.
The first session, held on January 23, 2026, took the form of a masterclass led by Antoine Le Bos (CEO of Le Groupe Ouest). It introduced the LIM² methodology, grounded in the latest cognitive science research. Producers and co-authors of the selected projects were invited to dive into the tools and philosophy of the programme. With over 90 participants, this session also gave them the chance to meet the two “dancing partners” (LIM² tutors) who would facilitate the upcoming workshops and to ask their questions.
The following two sessions, held on February 5 and 6, 2026, brought together 59 writer-directors from over 35 nationalities selected over almost 500 applicants. Facilitated by Nolwenn Guiziou and Miguel López Beraza, these sessions aimed to recreate the energy of in-person workshops in a virtual format, a challenge succeeded ! Over six hours of interactive workshops (two three-hour sessions), participants were immersed in the innovative tools and methodologies of the LIM² program, which are tailored to support the early development stages of a fiction feature film. They explored and applied LIM²’s unique approaches, an experience that fostered a deep sense of collective commitment and helped build a community of filmmakers united by the programme’s core values.
