Bérangère Mc Neese took part in Le Groupe Ouest’s Annual Selection in 2021 for the development of this first feature film. The film will be shot in 2024.

Synopsis

Héloïse, 15, is running away from an abusive relationship with an older man. One night, she finds herself alone in a city that isn’t hers, with nowhere to go. She meets Nora, who takes her home, where she lives with her daughter and two other young women. They’ve established a set of rules for their community—both practical and ideological—which Héloïse begins to learn. They form a tribe where everything is shared, and they protect one another. But the unspoken silence of their past wounds weigh heavier and heavier on these women—so strong, and yet so fragile.
