Victor Jestin

Victor Jestin was born in Nantes in 1994. He studied film at the Ciné-sup preparatory school in Nantes, then at the European Conservatory of Audiovisual Writing in Paris, graduating in 2017. He has since worked as a writer and screenwriter. In 2019, he published his first novel, La Chaleur (Flammarion), which was nominated for the Médicis, Renaudot and Femina prizes and won several awards, including the Prix Femina des Lycéens. At the same time, he co-wrote La Cour (Albertine Productions) with Nacim Mehtar, a feature film directed by Hafsia Herzi for Arte (to be broadcast in 2022).
