War Machines

Sélection Annuelle 2015

Bored, Frédérique broods over her immature father, his cheating wives, men and their grotesque appetites. She oozes fear of love! When Frédérique reconnects with her only role model, her grandmother, receiving the remnants of true love, she indulges in this beautiful past – neglecting her current relationships, whose half-hearted overtures weigh increasingly heavily on her.
Petrified by the failed suicide of one of her suitors (Manu), Frédérique seeks the help of another (Harold) to disengage from it all thanks to WAR MACHINES, a rock band whose power, talent and bad taste defy all reason, even that of love.
But what if this unexpected hurricane makes her realise that even Jeanne’s love is just another lie… Will Frédérique still dare to believe in love?
