
Raed Andoni
Raed Andoni, a Palestinian filmmaker, began his career in 1997 as a producer. He produced several critically acclaimed films featured in international festivals before turning to directing in 2006 with his documentary IMPROVISATION, which was selected at numerous festivals and broadcast on television.
His first feature film, FIX-ME, was selected for the official competition at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and later featured in the ACID section of the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. The film screened at many festivals and was released in cinemas in France and Switzerland.
His latest film, GHOST HUNTING (2017), won the Glashütte Original Documentary Award and the Audience Award at the 2017 Berlinale. Selected for over 150 festivals, it garnered 20 international awards and went on to become Palestine’s official submission to the 2019 Oscars.
