Olga Sidorina-Wilkins

Olga Sidorina Wilkins is a Ukrainian writer and screenwriter. In 2025, she published her debut novel Gimme Shelter with the prominent Ukrainian publishing house.
She holds a Master’s degree in Philology and advocates for inclusion, and veterans’ reintegration, which informs her interest in language, identity, and emotional storytelling.

And from this perspective, *Gimme Shelter* is, for me, the song of our generation — a story about the real coming of age of adults. About how, partly because of the turbulent times that never cease in our country, we went through an accelerated search for ourselves not only on a personal level, but on the level of an entire nation. And how that search led us to honesty with ourselves and with the world, and to the realization that in total darkness the light shines brighter, if we are not afraid to ignite it.
