Louves
Sélection Annuelle 2016
Since adolescence, Maria, Jen, Sophie and Ariane have formed a pack, a gang, a fortification against the world, and this keeps them going.
Maria is in hospital surrounded by her friends when the doctor tells them she has little time left to live. Maria wants to see her son, who lives in Italy.
Her friends are prepared to do anything to defy death and accompany Maria to the end.
On the road, they encounter wolves whose behaviour strangely echoes their own feelings. Maria’s death will shatter the fragile balance of their pack. Should they continue without her to Italy to find her son, or resume their lives? Is it still possible to move forward together when the pack loses one of its members?
