
Karolis Kaupinis
Karolis Kaupinis was born in Vilnius, Lithuania.
He holds a degree in Comparative Politics from the Institute of International Relations and Political Science at Vilnius University. Since his studies, Kaupinis has worked as a television journalist.
His first fiction short film, The Noisemaker, was selected at the Locarno Film Festival in 2013 and has since screened at dozens of other festivals. His second short film, Watchkeeping, premiered at the Vilnius International Film Festival.

A young geographer presents the Prime Minister with a bold idea : to create an emergency state abroad where the country’s population can seek refuge in case of danger.
