François Gallou

François Gallou was born on March 9th, 1981. After studying film in Rennes and Nantes, François entered the professional world as an electrician in 2005 working on numerous short and feature films with directors such as Jacques Nolot, Bertrand Bonello and Lodge Kerrigan. He directed the his first short film Pin Up in 2012 (the Combat Award in Josselin, the Press Award in Brest and in the national competition in Clermont Ferrand in 2013). He is currently developing a second short film, Blast.

He came to Groupe Ouest for the development of his first feature film, Garageland.

Ex-punk, Denis, retired  from the merchant navy, has settled in central Brittany. On his own, he ekes out a living from his small garage and raising a handful of pigs. One night, injured, a young woman pulls up into his yard to have her car repaired. She appears to be harbouring a secret, but Denis takes her in without asking any questions..
