Anna Buryachkova

Anna Buryachkova began her career directing films, music videos, TV commercials and social campaigns in 2012. Her artwork has been recognized at numerous international festivals, including Berlin Music Video Awards, Berlin Fashion Films, Grand OFF Poland and Cannes Lions’ Social Campaign Program. Having gained international recognition from these experiences, she brought up the idea and wrote a script of the film FOREVER-FOREVER in collaboration with Marina Stepanska (FALLING, 2017) that eventually became her feature debut and was premiered at the Orizzonti Extra section at the 80th Venice International Film Festival in 2023

Based on the debut novel by Ukrainian author Olga Sidorina Wilkins, in their first collaboration with award-winning director Anna Buryachkova (Forever-Forever, Venice 2023).
New Year’s Eve 2011, Kyiv, Vira (22) and Andrii (26) meet by chance. They come from different backgrounds but carry the same restlessness, an unnamed longing. Their connection is instant but conflicted. Just two kids, wanting too much, all at once, consumed by their private stories, while their country is moving to the point that will change everything.
Their relationship, though never quite working, becomes deeply meaningful, shaping how they move through a changing world. As Ukraine stirs to the days of Revolution, its story mirrors a generation searching for identity, liberty, and the courage to grow. Together or apart.
