Luli Barzman
Luli Barzman studied film, photography, and art history at UCLA, where she obtained a masters degree in screenwriting. She teaches screenwriting at ESRA and has co-authored a book on the subject (Introduction au Scénario, Dixit Editions). Luli has written several feature films, including the adaptation of the best-seller Circles in the Forest and Braille for Thierry Lhermitte, as well as for French television series.
Luli later went on to directing documentaries on contemporary dance. Her films have been shown in numerous museums and prestigious venues (Beaubourg, Fondation Cartier, Maison d’Amérique Latine, CND, etc.) as well as at festivals around the world (Milan, Oslo, Montreal, Taiwan, São Paulo, etc.). In parallel, she continues her work as a visual artist.
