Germain Huard
Germain Huard studied film and law at university. He has been devoted to screenwriting for a number of years. Several of his TV series projects have been purchased by production companies. In 2016, he directed his first short film, Jusqu’à ce que la mort nous sépare (Till Death Do Us Part), supported by the Breizh Film Fund.
In 2017, he participated in Le Groupe Ouest’s Annual Selection for the development of his first feature-length film, L’Arrière Monde (The Underworld), which was also supported the following year through the event LA SÉLECTION.

In the midst of his wedding preparations, Julien’s best friend turns up asking him to help cover up the body of a young woman he accidentally killed with his car. Caught between starting a new life and remaining loyal to a friend, Julien must choose.

À la mort de sa mère, Arthur s’enfonce au cœur de la Bretagne avec sa compagne pour annoncer la nouvelle à son père, le légendaire écrivain Stanislas Darcant. Ce dernier a fait le choix de s’abstraire du monde il y a sept ans pour se consacrer à son dernier et titanesque projet littéraire. Lorsqu’Arthur retrouve ce père qu’il n’a pas revu depuis l’adolescence, celui-ci ne le reconnait pas. Désorienté, Arthur ne révèle pas sa véritable identité. Débute alors entre les deux hommes une relation qui mêle chaque jour un peu plus la fascination, la dépendance et la manipulation.
