Groupe Ouest’s 2014 selection in Brignogan

Starting signal for 9 months of scriptwriting training
On April 15th, Le Groupe Ouest launched its 2014 selection with the six scriptwriters selected this year. They will benefit from nine months of scriptwriting training including three week-long residential workshops in Brignogan (Brittany) in April, June and October. Workshops are orchestred by two experimented script consultants: Jacques Akchoti (Scriptwriter of Don’t Look Back, 2009 Cannes Festival official selection) and Marcel Beaulieu (Scriptwriter, Golden Globe for Farinelli).
Le Groupe Ouest, European Film Lab, received 101 feature film projects after the call for applications launched in October 2013. The final jury – made up of Anne-Louise Trividic (Scriptwriter), Dominique Hoff (Fondation Gan pour le Cinéma), Laurent Lavolé (Gloria Films) and Antoine Le Bos (Le Groupe Ouest) – met on March 7th and 8th 2014 and selected 6 projects:
