Shot in Brest, particularly on the docks, FRÈRES D’ARME tells the story of Emilijan and his younger brother Stanko, bounded by a childhood’s secret which forced them to leave their native country. Today, Emilijan is perfectly integrated in France. He works in the harbor area of Brest and lives a love story with Gabrielle. Meanwhile, Stanko, lives in the nostalgia of the past and waits impatiently to go back to their country to get their former lives back. Everything changes when Emilijan announces him that he doesn’t want to return…

At the casting of director Sylvain Labrosse’s first feature film, we find Vincent Rottiers and Kévin Azaïs, as well as the Rennes based (Brittany) Pauline Parigot, selected this winter amongst the César revelations 2021!
