Fathia Youssouf rewarded Best Promising Actress for “Cuties” by Maïmouna Doucouré!

“Cuties”, Maïmouna Doucouré‘s first feature, was released in cinemas in Summer 2020. Awarded at Sundance and Berlinale, it was competing in two categories for the César 2021: Best first film, alongside “Deux” by Filippo Meneghetti, “Garçon chiffon” by Nicolas Maury, “Tout simplement noir” by Jean-Pascal Zadi & John Wax, as well as “Un divan à Tunis” by Manele Labidi, and Promising Actress for Fathia Youssouf. Fathia Youssouf won on Friday 12nd March the César for Best Promising Actress: congrats!!
