Biennale College – Cinema

Since 2012, la Biennale di Venezia launches the Biennale College – Cinema a unique initiative to support teams of directors and producers from around the world to make their first or second micro-budget audio-visual work. The Biennale College – Cinema is an advanced workshop for the development and production of micro budget audio visual works. The challenge is to succeed in creating 3 feature-length micro budget (€ 150,000) audio-visual works, at the end of a programme of activities.

Binger Filmlab

The Binger Filmlab supports filmmakers in its different labs: Artist in residence (March – June), Directors Lab (approx. six weeks in March – June) and Writers Lab & Creative Producers Lab (Mid-September – January). The selection procedure of the labs takes place in two stages: a meeting of the selection committee followed by an interview with short-listed applicants.
